As a newborn photographer who travels to clients homes regularly, I needed something compact, easy to use and quick to set up. The folding table is absolutely perfect for this and has cut my set-up time in half.
Here’s what you’ll need:
– 4 Foot mini folding table (can be purchased at almost any Walmart or on Amazon)
– One 48″ piece of PVC
– Two 23″ pieces of PVC
– Two 36″ pieces of PVC
– 4 PVC Elbows
– Four 3 inch, 1 1/4 diameter screws with matching washers and bolts
First, we used a drill bit to pre-drill small holes into the PVC (reduces the risk of splitting) and then we drilled the screws into the PVC and side of the table. Then, we used bolts and washers to keep the screw in place.
(If you’re confused about the extra piece in the photo below, I used a beanbag prior to the table so I recycled the PVC to fit. I didn’t have a piece long enough for the top back so I used my largest piece of PVC and cut an extra piece so it would fit.)
