You guys! Let me tell you about this amazing session I had with Brenda and Derek, one of our newest #TnTCouples! We had a blast working with them on their engagement session and wanted you to hear all about it AND them!

While in college, Brenda and Derek met while working at Kroger back in late 2018. The first thing Brenda ever said to him was, “Why don’t you ever smile?”. After that, he always had a reason to smile, and is still lovestruck by her to this day. They started dating in April of the following year, and after two years, Derek popped the question that will define the rest of their lives. 

The day Derek proposed was one that they will always cherish and think of fondly. Surrounded by their family and friends (and of course their pup!) Derek asked Brenda to marry him. With a delicate heart, crafted from rose petals and glowing signage that read “Marry Me”, Brenda agreed to become his wife and live out the rest of their days, fulfilling one another’s dreams, and pushing each other to be better versions of themselves for each other. The memory of this special moment will always be held closely in their hearts.

For their engagement session with Trevor & Tori, they wanted to do something more candid and unique since they had already done a formal engagement session. We wanted something fun and charming, so we headed to Downtown Wooster. Downtown Wooster offers a variety of different aesthetics which made it perfect for our session! We loved their outfits, and especially Derek’s socks, which perfectly matched his shirt! 

We’re beyond excited to photograph their wedding at the beautiful Buchwalter Greenhouse this September and can’t wait to share some of the precious memories!
